About

Jump, collect, and build the periodic table! Race through seven colorful zones, from a starry nebula to a glowing forge and a radioactive hot zone. Track down elements, discover fun facts, and place them on the periodic table to unlock the next area. Collect coins and minerals, earn badges for making compounds, and unlock handy abilities—from a helium balloon to a powerful tungsten drill. Then head to the accelerator labs to create the final elements by fusing nuclei. There are no enemies or game overs, so you can explore at your own pace and always try again. A full playthrough takes about 45–90 minutes and is suitable for all ages.

Learning outcomes

What players learn Periodic Quest turns the elements into an adventure. As players collect, combine and place them, they discover: How the periodic table works: Match element names, symbols and atomic numbers, and get to know families such as noble gases and alkali metals. What elements are made of: Meet protons, neutrons and electrons, and learn how the number of protons defines an element. How scientists make new elements: Fuse nuclei in the accelerator labs and discover the real experiments behind synthetic elements. Where chemistry shows up in everyday life: Find elements in minerals, explore familiar compounds such as water and salt, and see how materials are used in things like balloons and drill bits. Science in action: Experience low gravity, float in salty water, watch hot air rise, and learn about glowing neon and radiation. At each zone’s gate, an optional five-question quiz gives players a chance to review what they’ve learned. They can look up answers too, so curiosity counts as much as memory.
