Enter a poetry studio as the curator of an illustrated exhibition featuring six original portraits by Sakura. Choose a portrait, answer a short language challenge, and use hints whenever you need them. Explore metaphor, personification, simile, alliteration, sensory imagery and free verse. Select word tiles or write your own phrases, shape a final line, and explain one creative choice. Each saved poem adds another portrait to your exhibition. Listen to example poems, revisit your writing, and collect all six works. Finish by printing an illustrated poetry booklet. Play at your own pace, with unlimited retries and several possible creative interpretations.
Players learn to recognise metaphor, personification and simile; identify repeated consonant sounds; distinguish sensory details; explain how line breaks affect emphasis; choose imagery, vocabulary and sound patterns deliberately; revise short poems; and justify creative decisions with reference to their intended effect on a reader. Six workshops connect a recognition challenge with a writing task and reflection. Players compare the suggestions offered by word tiles, develop their own alternatives, and assemble an illustrated exhibition. The content supports English, literacy, literature and creative writing through poetry techniques, interpretation and composition. No external course, syllabus alignment or automatic assessment of writing is claimed.
