@STAKE Mining Edition is an interactive stakeholder simulation set around the fictional Red Ridge mining project. Players explore an interactive regional map, examine evidence and consider perspectives from Traditional Owners, the mining company, local communities, environmental and water interests, businesses and workers, and government and infrastructure. Across six connected decisions, players weigh competing priorities involving the project footprint, water use, community benefits, wet-season pressures, workforce accommodation and future expansion. Their choices influence stakeholder impacts, trigger new Stakeholder Pulse reactions and create consequences that may emerge later in the simulation. With Senior Secondary and Higher Education learning pathways, @STAKE Mining Edition encourages learners to analyse evidence, recognise trade-offs and develop a defensible judgement about responsible and sustainable mining development.
